Wondeful! Now we have a site for those specifically headless!
Penn, you are tempting me to try the "headless gesture". Looks like fun.

This is the sum of work that I have published on fotopages so far of this theme.

I'm currently rewriting the manifesto of the gallery - which differs from that stated on my main fotopage, in that it would be wonderful if it was you that created your own escapes.

Now I know I'm heading for a fall on this project. I expect it to fail.
Not everyone will see what I'm trying to produce here, or appreciate it.

I'm trying to express an escape from the individual person, the self.

Sometimes wouldn't you just love to switch yourself off for a while and drift away?

If anyone would like to contribute please feel free to do so.
The site's password is PAPILLON, and in case you forget it is included in the tag image.

I'm looking forwards to seeing heads missing whilst the lawn is being cut or whilst ironing, limbs placed aside whilst study or work goes untouched.
Please exercise those bountiful imaginations and feel free to expose them here.

All entries are welcome, anonymous or not.

Enjoy yourselves, your friend and fellow wannabe escapee

John Penn

Hey! checking this and paying attention to your notes I've written something for you. If you like it... a 'kind of' poem called My heads gone... email me back if you want it.... and also, I accept being a model for such a good artist...but we will have to work together on that! Mon 2-Aug-2004 02:51

My head's gone

i've lost you today
I guess i've called you
but I can't remember...
I guess I looked for you
but damn I dont remember...

How can you be far from me
If THE heart is still here?
as if you could live like that,
of dreams that are not real.

I wish I could find you
and the answers you dont even have,
because my arms still feel the pain
and you're the only one
that can take them away.

You should know by now
that you need me as I need you,
because I am the only way you have
to show them we are not a fake.

John, I dont know if it fits your feelings or why your work is like that exactly. For me it is something important that head and body must be together but my friends kid me as in fact they really dont...Sometimes My mind's awake but my body's still sleeping Tue 3-Aug-2004 14:27
